7 Things To Do On Halloween Without Leaving The House

Hello everybody! Oh man, can we all take a minute to look at how cute this picture is *heart eye emoji*, it just sums up autumn, right?

Moving on... So it's nearly halloween and it's one festivity I really love but here in the UK there's not much to do to celebrate it unless you have money to travel to scare fests or just get drunk with a few mates and to me they don't sound very appealing. Call me a loser but I'd much prefer to stay in the warm, cozy comfort of my own home and do some small things to celebrate halloween.

1. Baking
Wake up in the morning, shower, throw on your comfiest clean pyjamas and get baking! Let your imagination go wild. You could make cupcakes and throw on some halloween sprinkles or you could go all out make a spook-tacular show stopping cake with all the spooky decorations you want! If you need some inspiration or recipes then pinterest is your best friend.

2. Have a movie marathon
Whether you want to invite over some mates and scare yourselves stupid or just curl up with a funny movie on your own movies are great ways to spend dark, cold autumn evenings.

3. Host a get together
If you're not the party type just invite some friends or family members round, combine the previous two ideas and serve all your super cool halloween bakes, make some creepy cocktails, decorate the house with spider webs and candles and have yourself a cozy night in.

4. Pamper yourself
If you're spending halloween on your own why don't you just treat yourself? Get yourself some of the Lush halloween range beforehand; I'd recommend Lord Of Misrule bath bomb, it has a green outer layer but a deep red blood colour in the centre! (Or just bathe in the blood of your enemies). Light some candles and run yourself a devilishly good bath, paint your nails, sip away at some blood red wine, read a book and relax.

5. Host a dinner party
I know I've already suggested to host a get together but if you're looking for something a bit more exciting you could host a ghoulish dinner party. Make it fancy dress or turn it into a murder mystery dinner to add a bit of fun, the possibilities are endless!

6. Carve some pumpkins
No matter what age you are, you are NEVER too old to carve pumpkins, in fact you don't even have to carve the pumpkin, you could paint it, glue lace or gold foil onto it and make them chic and pretty.

7. Dress up
Who said dressing up is just for kids? Throw on your best frock, do some dead make up or dress as your favourite disney princess! I'm not judging *wink*.

There's so many things you can do in the comfort of your own home if you have no other plans or if the outside seems a little daunting. You don't need to be out and about and spend lots of money to have have fun!

Do you have any plans for halloween?
